Hi Support,

I am having trouble accessing my VM, could someone help please? Not quite sure how it happened:

Could not open the medium ‘/Users/liamcampbell/VirtualBox VMs/Whonix-Gateway-XFCE/Whonix-XFCE-15.0.0.9.4-disk001.vdi’.

Whonix doesn’t produce the VirtualBox host software. Neither it does changes to your host.

Means just what it says. That file no longer exists. Possibilities include: you manually deleted these files, another computer user deleted these files, some program such as antivirus deleted that file (although we never had such reports), there are software issues of the host operating system, hardware issues with the physical storage drive or you installed to a device which is no longer connected.

Delete the VM(s) and re-import Whonix.

I have tried to import it all again and now i’m getting the below error:

You need to delete existing VM(s) from VirtualBox.

Error message too short. Please copy in full.

Also these are not Whonix specific issues. These are VirtualBox specific issues. Can be resolved as per Free Support for Whonix ™. I.e. use search engines - answers are probably already available on the internet.
