I cannot reproduce this issue.
Log output is too short.
- Update → Operating System Software and Updates (Whonix is based on Kicksecure.)
- run from command line:
update-torbrowser - share the full log should that fail
- meanwhile, consider https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Tor_Browser#Tor_Browser_Manual_Update
