I am moving from VirtualBox to KVM. I followed the instructions on Whonix ™ for KVM for Debian Buster. I did not use sudo, but executed all commands that require root permissions as root.
When I arrived at importing the gateway image I get the following error:
root@BUSTER:/home/rnd/Downloads/wnx# virsh -c qemu:///system define ./Whonix-Gateway-XFCE-15.0.1.7.2.qcow2
error: Failed to read file ‘./Whonix-Gateway-XFCE-15.0.1.7.2.qcow2’: Value too large for defined data type
After running into this error, I noticed that I had missed to execute:
virsh -c qemu:///system define ./Whonix-Gateway-XFCE-15.0.1.7.2.xml
This completed with success, but the error when importing the gateway remains.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
