Error: can't boot whonix

Hi. Whonix was working fine for a while, then today, I got this:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine Whonix-Gateway.

The virtual machine ‘Whonix-Gateway’ has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1.

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: Machine
Interface: IMachine {480cf695-2d8d-4256-9c7c-cce4184fa048}

What can be done about this?

Most likely not caused by Whonix, but rather by VirtualBox. First report of that sort ever. So searching the web for that VirtualBox error might help.

Could likely be caused by unclean shutdown or hard drive issues.
