When I open my Workstation in not Live Mode a encrypted volume for /var/swapfile appears on the desktop. I suspect this happens because of swap-file-creator, is this normal?
In Live Mode this does not appear.

That’s some sort of Xfce auto mounting and is considered a bug.
swap-file-creator does not run in live mode as documented on that wiki page. So that’s not surprising.
