If you have Windows on your host, download Tmac
If you have Linux, download macchanger (sudo apt-get install macchanger)

Actually, he can’t, because he has some other things to do over the day and thus can’t be available 24/7.

Now, like @entr0py said, it very much depends. The Mac-Address is however only exposed to your local network, so as long as you control the connection you use, changing it has no purpose.
