Description

Debian will enable timesyncd by default in #Debian_Stretch. It would conflict with #sdwdate. Therefore we need to disable it when we port to #Debian_Stretch.

This is also an issue in #Qubes / #jessie. /etc/systemd/system/sysinit.target.wants/systemd-timesyncd.service exists there. Most likely because of this (link) not easily solvable issue? So I need to fix this for #Whonix_12.

Something like this would fix it.
/lib/systemd/system/systemd-timesyncd.service.d/40_sdwdate.conf

I am wondering where to add this. New package timesyncd-disable or existing package #sdwdate? The latter would certainly cost less time. But I don’t know if the latter would hinder upstreaming the package to Debian.
