Crashing when connecting headphones

Hello again everyone. When I connect headphones, if I agree with the Realtec audio console settings, the Whonix distribution UI crashes after this error

Translate: The instruction at aaddress (address) accessed memory at address (address). The memory cannot be read

Ok - app terminated
Abort - debug

What I mean by Realtec Audio Console:

Translation: What device do you want to connect?

Field: Microphone input

Then another window appears, with headphones connection. And when I agree, this error occurs

This is most likely a VirtualBox bug and cannot be fixed by the Whonix developers. You might have better luck searching through or asking on the VirtualBox forums. virtualbox.org - Index page

This is a VirtualBox issue. Not a Whonix issue.

Whonix provides VM image that operate inside of virtualizer (VirtualBox in your case). Whatever occurs inside a VM should never lead to a crash of the host virtualization software (VirtualBox).

This issue is unspecific to Whonix.

Note: Whonix is based on Kicksecure

Got it. I’ll try to solve the problem. If it doesn’t work, I’ll contact VirtualBox. Should I close this thread or add news to it?

Adding any news to it such as forum posts and/or tickets upstream and major updates (replies by upstream, workaround, solutions) would be very much appreciated here.
