I did. But doing
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrad
in the terminal gives
Err http://mirror.whonix.de wheezy/main i386 Packages
404 Not Found
W: Failed to fetch http://mirror.whonix.de/whonixdevelopermetafiles/internal/dists/wheezy/main/binary-i386/Packages 404 Not Found

are you sure you’re using the latest version of Whonix? Yesterday someone had a similar problem due to still using Whonix 10. Furthermore, like Patrick already posted, the build version doesn’t really tell which version you’re using since, as far as I’ve understood (though I maybe wrong here) after updating from for example Whonix 9 to 10, the build version remains the same.
