Could not check for software updates! (apt-get code: 100)

I get this for 3 days now

WARNING: Debian Package Update Check Result: Could not check for software updates! (apt-get code: 100)
Please manually check:
(Open a terminal, Start menu -> Applications -> System -> Terminal.)

I’m still with
Up to date: Whonix Build Version 9

Just go on reading and doing what whonixcheck suggests.

I did. But doing
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrad
in the terminal gives
Err http://mirror.whonix.de wheezy/main i386 Packages

Good day,

are you sure you’re using the latest version of Whonix? Yesterday someone had a similar problem due to still using Whonix 10. Furthermore, like Patrick already posted, the build version doesn’t really tell which version you’re using since, as far as I’ve understood (though I maybe wrong here) after updating from for example Whonix 9 to 10, the build version remains the same.

Have a nice day,

Ego
