Description
I suggested in past to add a random unique uid to the log so one could find out by viewing the log if multiple instances of control-port-filter-python got “entangled”, i.e. if multiple were running at the same time. (Perhaps due to porting control-port-filter-python to some new platform / systemd etc.)
But why an uid? A pid seems much more simple, shorter and is perfect for this use case.
TODO:
Change from uid to pid.
