To change the password of the Whonix Workstation I entered “sudo passwd” instead of “sudo passwd user”. This leaves the user password unchanged and sets a password for the user root. By default the root account is locked in Whonix 16. Is it sufficient to enter “sudo passwd --lock root” to restore the default?
