Can't update Workstation-KVM "zsh: permission denied: sudo"

Hello everyone,

I installed a new Whonix for KVM.
After that i successfully updated Gateway with the command:

sudo apt  update
sudo apt  upgrade

Then i started updating Workstation with the same command, but I immediately got an error -

[workstation] user ~]% sudo apt update
zsh: permission denied: sudo
zsh: exit 126   sudo apt update

Please talk, how to solve this unexpected problem?

Whonix is not ordinary operating system, so it works differently to secure the user environment.

So read the boot up options before you press enter, read the page i posted above.

In short choose: system maintenance tasks for update/upgrade
