Is it possible for a wifi to find out my phone number or some personal information just by connecting using my phone?
I am not aware of everyone easily able to do that. But I find it very conceivable that mobile phone producers, mobile carriers keep a list MAC addresses that are sold, linked to IMEI / IMSI. And IMEI / IMSI is easily linked to real name.
