also apparmor freezed in whonix gateway image:- (it never moved again from this position)

things i have done and i dont know if its related or not:-

i went to Tor browser -> preferences -> i switched to use custom proxy settings and i add this:- 127.0.0.1 port: 4444 in “HTTP Proxy field”. then after few seconds i switched it back to original settings by using recommended proxy settings. in all my cases the tor browser is working.

and i have installed wine and i was using some applications for chat which is used to be in windows.

more than this, i have no clue what happened.

i also tried to use new circuit from the apparmor by pressing “n” according to this link:-

the following brown messages appeared:-

12:52:38 [WARN] connection_edge_process_relay_cell (at origin) failed. 12:52:38 [WARN] circuit_finish_handshake failed. 12:52:38 [WARN] onion_skin_client_handshake failed. 12:52:38 [WARN] Invalid result from curve25519 handshake: 4

and then the apparmor , [glow=red,2,300]freed [/glow]from freezing and back to move again. but the brown messages didn’t go nor the error denied messages (above) disappeared.

Unrelated to AppArmor. These are developer level information. Not very helpful to users. Naturally, if you watch closely, you see things. These information can be useful for debugging if you had issues with a Tor connection. As long as everything is working, these messages are not worth being reported. Don’t take arm too serious. On the other hand, if many users had connection troubles, and many users would report these messages, then it would give the Tor developers a clue what is going on.

Tor Browser settings:
Unrelated to AppArmor. Let’s use this thread:

AppArmor denied messages:
How to reproduce?
Which website did you visit?
Installed any additional plugin?
Visited some plugin testing website?

thought every message which is inside the apparmor then its related to it.

AppArmor denied messages: How to reproduce? Which website did you visit? Installed any additional plugin? Visited some plugin testing website?

how to reproduce? => dont know , but i will try on a different workstation

which website did you visit? => non in specific , just being here or the image uploading website…

installed any additional plugin? => nope

Visited some plugin testing website?=> nope

“inside the apparmor” - don’t know what you mean by that.

#6

i mean like this image:-

#7

That’s a screenshot of ‘arm’. There is nothing “inside apparmor”. There must be some confusion about what apparmor is. These are different things.

#8

yes i mean arm :-X
