I want to add Japanese language support to Whonix so that I can surf Japanese websites. I was able to download and install Japanese via System Settings > Locale > Languages, but this doesn’t help me view Japanese fonts in web pages in the Tor browser. Everything is still gibberish. Where can I add this support?
If you want to enable Japanese input in Whonix, the instructions on this page for adding Mozc and Fcitx helped.
Hi I tried to install ibus-anthy but couldn’t because it says ‘Unable to locate package ibus-anthy’ like below
user@host:~$ sudo apt-get install ibus-anthy
[sudo] password for user:
Reading package lists… Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information… Done
E: Unable to locate package ibus-anthy
user@host:~$
How can I resolve this ?
Thanks
Tosh
