I’m attempting to test whonix with a windows xp workstation. I setup the whonix gateway without any issue and input what I believe is the proper data in the network settings on the windows box. The only problem is when I try to test the connection via the browser it doesn’t seem to be able to be able to connect. I am using virtual box for the gateway and vmware for the windows workstation.

Any help would be much appreciated. :slight_smile:

I guess you saw Anonymize Other Operating Systems already?

In particular https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Other_Operating_Systems#Windows-Whonix-Workstation?

Have you changed VirtualBox VM settings already?

In particular:
Network → Adapter 1 → Name (of Internal Network) (Important!): Whonix

Which browser?
