Wickr Me gets Whonix stuck in live mode

Im trying to install Wickr I install snap restart then install it with snap and during the installation, it switches to live mode, and I’ve tried restarting made sure im not booting into live mode. is there any way to force it to boot into persistent mode?

This is not possible. Or even if it was possible in theory… At very
least at time of writing switching from persistent to live mode without
reboot is unsupported.

What live indicator says can be safely ignored if you know what you are
doing. (Know you’re in which mode.)

snapd uses mount. This might confuse live mode indicator.

I’ll try to re-produce.

Therefore not possible / not needed.

Confirmed.

This will be fixed in next version.

Ok thanks for your help

Same thing happened to me but with authy, installed using snapd.

sudo apt install snapd
sudo snap install authy --beta

Live indicator is there (I didn’t choose live mode), and I do however see that changes are written to disk and persist from one boot to another.

hi sheep

Are you able to install Wickr me using :

sudo snap install authy --beta

Is that a kind of store?

Thanks for your reply.
