Whonix CLI commands on Gateway questions

Common CLI commands do not make KVM Whonix Gateway functional since at least Tor Browser on corresponding Workstation does not function properly.

lxsudo anon-connection-wizard
produces:

sudo service tor restart
sudo service networking status — > it’s systemd like tor.service

but the performance is terrible. Nothing like VirtualBox GUI tor-connection-panel. Then running systemctl start tor.service does not correct disfunction. CPU 1 & 2 running at 100% constantly with fan on high the whole time.

What “uncommon” commands might work?

Using a GUI or CLI? ACW cannot run from CLI.

CPU 1 & 2 running at 100% constantly with fan on high the whole time.

CPU 1 stays at 100% and runs fan perpetually at high speed

I checked with the manager that shows PID and processor graphs and see that CPU 1 (out of several) is at 100% once KVM is turned on and continues even after it is shut down. The fan is running high constantly. How do I get more information about what is causing that? What allocates which cores get used? There are 3 virtual like in VirtualBox, right, and then what designates which cores (threads - called “CPU” 1-N) of the physical cpu on a socket? How can I kill a CPU like a PID process, if I …

No one answers the question. If anon-connection is not CLI, then service tor start also does not solve the issue. I do real-world tests. It is not my error. You have either not provided the correct information or the software is not developed fully.
