Using Qubes in a VM itself is not recommended and currently unsupported.

I am surprised you made Qubes boot in VirtualBox. Even though not supported, we might be able to, and ought to fix that whonixcheck bug. It may be a corner case, but should be fixed nonetheless.

Please open a konsole.

Run.

whonixcheck --verbose

Also.

bash -x whonixcheck --verbose

Clean the output.
