Whonix 8 schedule?

hi,

I read somewhere that Whonix 8 is going to be based on Debian stable again. A decision I very much support btw. Actually I’m going to setup a new system soon and I’d like to ask if there is some release schedule for Whonix 8 yet? Doesn’t make too much sense to start from scratch with Whonix 7/Debian testing that is likely to break anyways.

There is no schedule. The plan for now…

I am currently building 7.7.8.5. Will test it a bit. When there are no major issues, upload it as Whonix 8 RC 1. And when broader testing works well, announce it as Whonix 8 stable.
