Whonix 8 Release Date?

I tried Whonix 7.7.8.6 already and love it.
Until now I used Whonix 5 because the stable debian is much better.

Is there a release date or month for the Whonix 8 start?
The plan is to take Whonix 7.7.8.6 and release it as Whonix 8 after testing, right?

No.

A few build script fixes and minor improvements have been made. If it goes well, soon rebuild as Whonix 8. New test. Then release.
Expected release date of whonix 8?
