Upgrade in place for whonix?

I am on qubes-whonix. With debian 13 being released, I am looking at updating my debian 12 templates to debian 13:

  1. Is there something like this with whonix templates?
  2. Do I have to wait until whonix-workstation-18 and whonix-gateway-18 get released for option 1 ?
  3. Do whonix templates (both gateway and workstation) even support in-place updates?

So this answers my questions. How long does it take for whonix-18 to be released, following a debian 13 release?

Is whonix-18 going to make it to QubesOS 4.3.0-rc3 release?
