Tor browser not installed

Today after reinstalling whonix gate way and workstain and updating by sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get dist upgrade
I went to use tor browser and got a message that tor browser is not installed, I’ve never gotten this message before so I am not sure if its a trusted message…

The message/error was,

Torbrowser Update Check (Whonix)

Currently installed version: None installed . (/home/user/tor-browser_en-us does not exist. )
Online detected version(s) : 3.6.3

Install now?

The reason I am paranoid is because if tor wanted to update it would atleast mention the previous version but in this case it say there is no version installed at all
So please tell me whats going?
thanks

This is expected.

I just now answered your question in the wiki so that everyone can read it.
