1- host (windows 8.1) => VM => whonix workstation & gateway… (one virtualmachine)

2- host (window 8.1) => VM => windows XP => VM => whonix workstation & gateway…(double/nested virtualmachine)

is this normal and i shouldnt play with it ? or i should do something that need to be fixed ? because the variation exceeded 3 to 4 hours!.
B- i didnt see time variation with:-
host (debian GNU/linux) => VM => whonix workstation & gateway
note*:- in all the cases above tor is working and updates are all going well.

Don't wonder... To prevent against time zone leaks, the system clock inside Whonix was set to UTC. This means it may be a few hours before or ahead of your host system clock. Do not change!
Does this cover your question?
yeah on the same link: Post-installation Security Advice
i got little confusion between this
Don't wonder... To prevent against time zone leaks, the system clock inside Whonix was set to UTC. This means it may be a few hours before or ahead of your host system clock. Do not change!
and
If your host clock is more than 1 hour in the past or more than 3 hours in the future, Tor can't connect. In this case fix your host clock manually (right click on clock).
so i said its better to ask here , to make sure that i got it right. thnx
Your point is valid. It’s confusing.
Changed that sentence a little.
