Strange message in apt-get upgrade

What could this message be?

i just installed whonix, changed password and made apt-get update and upgrade.
What was that leak message about???
I got scared…

“error talking to kernel via netlink”… ???
“could not talk to rtnetlink”

Errors in the middle of an update are something to be afraid about… Can some pro tell me what that is and what shall i do?

No concern here. Minor issue. It happens because Whonix wraps apt-get through torsocks for stream isolation (Stream Isolation) so local connections are failing.

Can you donate the picture to under public domain CC0 Creative Commons — CC0 1.0 Universal please?

I’ll document.

of course, the piscure is to be used… For public Open Domain.
How do i donate?

ok. i deleted my vm and reinstalled a new one.

  1. changed passwords
  2. sudo apt-get update and upgrade

i chose manually hour time GMT -3
Now gave me this error:

and repeated the error from before too

PS: I tested the checksum and the signing keys after download. everything is ok, vm source not corrupted.

i also have this warning on ARM… is that normal? what are those problems, any one knows?

Socks Version 71 not recognized

Will answer the rest later.

Expected. Explanation of that and more arm messages:

Recommended against. You’re better off keeping UTC for better privacy/anonymity (shared value with all Whonix and Tails users).

Now gave me this error: http://gyazo.com/79f2c73cb2ef5ca20a9d50d3904ef540
This is a bug. Will be fixed in Whonix 9.
and repeated the error from before too http://gyazo.com/85165ecf3e2e650e44241b56f512b53e
Now documented: https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Download#libtorsocks_Warning

Description of the bug can surely be improved, but should be sufficient for now.
