Hello together,
my host system is Lubuntu 14.04 and I am using a Logitech G4 USB Mouse.
I am using an Whonix with KVM. The mouse wheel does not work inside the virtual machine.
What can I do to fix this?

Thanks for reporting. There was a bug in an xorg package: xserver-xorg-input-evdev. Version 2.9+ since wheezy should have fixed this. Likely this package isn’t installed on Whonix which is why you are experiencing this.
Patrick can you please include xserver-xorg-input-evdev for both VMs?
Corrections. After researching this some more:

Whonix does include this package by default as part of xorg.
Only Debian Jessie has the package that has the fix version 2.9.
Debian Wheezy has the problem because its package is 2.7. Whonix 10 is based on Wheezy.
Solution: wait for Whonix 11 thats based on on Jessie to be officially released and this problem will go away or install the RC from the download mirror.
