LibremKey (maybe Nitrokey 2) or Whonix

My question is: Whonix problem?

user@host:~/Downloads$ gpg --card-edit
gpg: WARNING: unsafe permissions on homedir ‘/home/user/.gnupg’

gpg: selecting openpgp failed: No such device
gpg: OpenPGP card not available: No such device

OR

user@host:~/Downloads$ gpg --card-status
gpg: WARNING: unsafe permissions on homedir ‘/home/user/.gnupg’
gpg: selecting openpgp failed: No such device
gpg: OpenPGP card not available: No such device

Yes qubes alerts sees the device!

I’m aware that security keys are NOT sold in stores so they are intercepted. This is REALITY about a flaw in Neo and GPG.

Yes scdaemon is installed! Yes I have multiple devices and Yubi has no such problems.

In general I would return such a key but in customer service I was assigned a Polak that is not the sharpest tool in the box.

Recommendations: If you take a gamble on ordering a security key make sure it is a “straw purchase” (other people buy it for you) and it is always OVERNIGHT DELIVERY by courier not the postal system.

Possibly not. You could try reproduce this in a Debian VM for comparison.
