Have you tried using KeepassXC on host and autotype to Whonix VMs ? And it’s not working all the time ?
On KeepassXC
Tools->Settings->Auto-Type->Autotyping-Delay (increase 25 to 50)
Have been struggling with this some time, hope that helps someone. No reason to have weak whonix vm’s passwords now.
