Patrick does the documentation have to be updated on the wiki because the internal network IP has changed?
For example should we tell people to just use 0.0.0.0 on the onioncat and VOIP pages?

Ideally it would be best if one could click a button 8 or 9 in the wiki, and wiki pages will then show versions specific to that version. However, I searched with fortasse for a solution, also asked on mediawiki list, but there is no solution.
No, I don’t think 0.0.0.0 should be encouraged. At least in custom setups with additional (virtual) network cards it could do something unexpected.
