I dl’d and verified monero then decompressed it and got an error when I tried to start it. On IRC they suggested i start using:

I was able to create a wallet but then got the error

On IRC torsocks was suggested but I got an error trying to use that as well.
Has anyone had moero give errors regarding connecting to the daemon?
