Forcing TransPort or SocksPort?

When using the Whonix Workstation, how can I force the Tor browser to use TransPort or SocksPort?

As I understand it, the Tor Browser uses SocksPort by default (in the Whonix Workstation). This is to ensure that different connections to different web servers can’t be tied together to a single identity.

I’m just curious if I can disable this, if I feel like it.

To enable transparent torification (no proxy setting), set the TOR_TRANSPROXY=1 environment variable.
