Troubleshooting:
Confirm that Whonix-Gateway is running.
Run whonixcheck on Whonix-Gateway and confirm success.
If you’re running multiple Whonix-Workstations simultaneously, confirm that separate IP addresses are configured (see Multiple Whonix-Workstation ™).
Rerun whonixcheck here in this Whonix-Workstation.

I don’t know how to solve this problem .
I tried to run whonixcheck on Whonix-Gateway and confirm success.
I tried to run whonixcheck on Whonix-Workstation , also .
But , Problem can’t solve …
Please tell me the solution answer .
I have the same problem. But I think it relates to a regression in curl updates that were just pushed (?).
Basically:
a) whonixcheck on the whonix-gw (sys-whonix) shows everything is fine;
b) whonixcheck on the whonix-ws (anon-whonix) shows the error that the first commentator is noting
c) whonixcheck -v output in the workstation shows:
[INFO] [whonixcheck] anon-whonix | Whonix-Workstation | whonix-ws Template-Based AppVM | Wed Aug 3 17:08:25 UTC 2016
[INFO] [whonixcheck] Input Detection: INPUT_AUTO=true CLI=true GUI=false
stdin connected to terminal. Using cli output. Not using gui output.
Alternatively, if want to run from command line, but still use the graphical user interface for input, you could add to command line: --gui

Everything was fine just before those updates were installed. I was on testers repository though. Changing the repository to stable and re-running apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade doesn’t solve the problem.
Neither does creating a new workstation appVM.
Ironically, Tor Browser works just fine - both 6.0.3 & the new hardened 6.5a2.
Just to add I’ve booted up Whonix on my laptop still using version 12, and this error has just started happening for me tonight, Gateway connects fine and whonixcheck runs fine, soon as I load up the workstation I get the error the others are reporting here on the Workstation.
One gateway, one workstation on my laptop, no settings changed since last use 2-3 days ago.
Edit/////
I know what the cause is, gateway will update tor geoipv6 once the update has ran the workstation will not run whonixcheck and gives the above error.
I’ve got Whonix on 4 machines, i’ve manage to replicate the error now on all 4 with the above information
