Kicksecure uses apt-transport-tor.

Using `apt-transport-tor` from a Tor censored country.

What would happen if (1) a user lives in a country that censors Tor and (2) updates their system with package apt-transport-tor is installed? Just using Tor could get them in trouble?

[archived] Previous, now Deprecated Whonix Windows Installer Testing

Had an issue when importing Kicksecure ova image in VirtualBox. The error message isn’t all that helpfull. Code: E_INVALIDARG (0x80070057) I previously used https://whonix.org/wiki/Dev/Whonix-Windows-Installer to install VitrualBox and Whonix. Reinstalled VitrualBox and was able to import the Kicksecure ova. If I remove Kicksecure ova image and run Whonix installer again, then try to import the Kicksecure ova image again the same thing happens. Related: https://forums.virtualbox.org/viewt…

Kicksecure - Security Focused Linux - Testers Wanted!

Had an issue with VM window resizing to full screen. Following the VirtualBox screen resolution bug instructions would ONLY work if I resized during the VM boot process. If I tried afterwords the VM window would not scale to full screen. Resolved now but its a little weird.

Hi everyone,

With a heavy heart and due to personal reasons, I will not be able to complete this GSoD project in the required timeline. Patrick – both Lead Whonix developer and my GSoD mentor – and GSoD admins have been notified of my intention to discontinue with Kicksecure documentation development at this time. However, I Will be completing Kicksecure documentation in the near future upon my return.

I would like to thank every contributor that has helped both myself and Kicksecure developers and I look forward to completing my project. Just not under the GSoD umbrella.
