Can't connect to APT in Qubes-Debian after following kicksecure installation instructions

I followed the exact instructions on this page:

https:// www.whonix .org/wiki/Kicksecure/Debia n

Including the final APT command :
sudo mv /etc/apt/sources.list ~/

Now, my machines say kicksecure is enabled but I am unable to access repositories to install or update. What more, I cloned my primary Debian template to see if the problem persists, but it says that /etc/apt/sources.list (the original APT configuration file) does not exist.

Urgent help would be greatly appreciated. One note is I did go into the new configuration file and onionize the repositories, but after that didn’t work I reverted to the original https:// settings.

Thank you.

The smaller issue:

Create empty /etc/apt/sources.list to work around bug.

sudo touch /etc/apt/sources.list

The bigger issue: no fix may be available.

Page Install Kicksecure ™ inside Debian does not claim to be compatible with Qubes yet.
