Advantages of offline Whonix Qube?

Whonix focuses on Tor integration but also includes other security features (which seem to be less useful or harder to set up on Qubes vs Virtualbox, e.g. AppArmor). Are there any advantages in making an offline Whonix workstation qube instead of a regular Debian template to, for example, open files from the internet? I’m not sure what built-in protections would be useful besides just using Tor while online.

Thanks in advance

Yes, whonix has a lot more security hardening from kicksecure than default debian, so it will be a more secure environment to open unsafe / untrusted files. However, qubes will still secure the VM by isolating it anyway
