Given the amount of serious security problems it causes yes please go ahead and kill it. Kill it with fire.

Please check e-mail. @HulaHoop

Iā€™m just imagining when KVM will be dropping for Android and iOS devices. Do we have hope?

  1. No Android devices come with KVM modules as far as I know. 99.9% of Android devices run on battery powered devices so its not really practical to run heavy energy consuming tasks like virtualization.

  2. iOS is not Linux. It runs a modified BSD kernel that does not have KVM among other useful features from the Linux world. Also iOS devices are locked down more than hell itself, so you will never get the chance to run a different OS or change the one you are running.

Dead-end page.

Keep? Populate? Delete?

That was one of my worries about community volunteered docs for KVM. Please deprecate.

Mentions VirtualBox only, since I created a new page Whonix for VirtualBox - Testers Only Version for it so I wonā€™t have to generate download links manually.

Both Whonix for Windows, macOS, Linux inside VirtualBox and Whonix for VirtualBox - Testers Only Version are now based on wiki template Template:VirtualBox - Whonix.

Whonix for KVM is now using:

{{DownloadTable
|extension=libvirt.xz
|version={{VersionNew}}
}}

So making a separate download table for the testers version number in the wiki is now simple.

KVM images were built and uploaded as well just not announced because of this.

Please create a separate call for testing this time if these images are good.

@Patrick Please check inbox.

We didnā€™t have a call for testing for Whonix KVM. Therefore I donā€™t know how to add it to the new release announcement. Please see last post.

So thereā€™s a new version out I can grab?

For one thing, 3D accel support is not working on Debian Stretch yet for me to test or enable.
