Everytime I run Tor Updater I get this error:
GPG download signature could NOT be verified
Tor Browser update failed! Try again later.
This is the first time Tor is being installed.

Still having the same problem.
Either follow instructions up to the word, use 9.6 testers-only version (see blog News - Whonix Forum) or wait for 9.6 stable release. Sorry for the inconvenience.
